Nick studied violin at the Royal Academy of Music with Howard Davis and the Amadeus Quartet followed by a multi-faceted carer in performance with the likes of Live Music Now! and Glyndebourne Touring Opera, instrumental sales and marketing and violin and viola teaching in the public and private education sectors.
A Liverpudlian by birth but brought up in the South East, Nick started his musical career as a chorister of St John's College Choir in Cambridge. He has lived in Hitchin with his family since 1997 and is shortly to become a grandparent!
Apart from playing chamber music - always his preferred musical mode - Nick enjoys sailing and cycling and pursues his other life-long interest in all things maritime.
